What is a Standardized Weld Cells?

A standardized weld cell is a welding workspace built to a common template. In this example, each weld cell should have both a MIG welding machine and a TIG welding machine.

The standard also includes consumables at the point of use. The shown cell has stainless welding consumables and a tungsten sharpener, making the expected support items visible where the work happens.

This turns one proven setup into reusable knowledge. A welder can recognize what belongs in a complete cell, and missing items stand out quickly.
